The facility building will house growing-on tanks and an aquaponic system, supporting the fishery.

Aquaponics is a simple system whereby plants extract the water and nutrients they need to grow, thus cleaning the water for the fish. Bacteria live in the surface of the grow-bed, converting ammonia wastes from the fish into nitrates that can be used by the plants. This process is often termed 'the nitrogen cycle'.

We will be producing a series of videos on YouTube showing the construction of the facility building and the Aquaponics. Subscribe for updates & follow on social media.
